All is set for the grand finale of Tech Skills Challenge Season III, organised by RIT Foundation Ghana, on Sunday, 25 October 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at the Ketu-North Municipal Assembly, Dzodze.
Under the theme “Beyond Skills, Beyond Limits: Transforming Talent into Sustainable Livelihoods,” the event will celebrate emerging talents in Fashion Design and Cosmetology while promoting entrepreneurship and economic empowerment among young people.
The competition began in March 2026 with 34 contestants, comprising 17 in Fashion Design and 17 in Cosmetology. Following months of practical training, mentorship and competitive activities, nine (9) finalists will compete for honours at the grand finale.
Outstanding contestants will receive start-up kits and further training opportunities through NEWIG and DOEL Beauty College, aimed at helping them turn their skills into sustainable businesses.
The event will also recognise the contributions of master artisans and honour the memory of the late Saviour Zottor, Co-Founder and Programmes Manager of RIT Foundation Ghana.
Since its establishment in 2020, RIT Foundation Ghana has reached over 576 young people, approximately 80% of whom are women and girls, through technical and vocational training, entrepreneurship and community development initiatives.
The grand finale is expected to bring together representatives of Ghana TVET Service, traditional authorities, local government officials, master artisans, parents and community members.
